Now the title itself might seem a bit taboo for some of us, but if you’re interested in learning more about men’s masculinity and how certain aspects, especially their reproductive organ, affects that, then you may want to check out the theatrical play DickTalk happening at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium in Makati City.

Starring various male artists such as Mikoy Morales, Archi Adamos, and Jake Cuenca, DickTalk opens up about stereotypes about male masculinity and how the male reproductive organ affects manhood and expectations of manhood.

2. Nekropolis – a community play set in a dystopian Philippines

Nekropolis, happening at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Black Box Theater in Malate, is another play that you can catch to satisfy your craving for theatrical performances.

Referred to as a dulambayanihan (from the words dula meaning “play” and bayanihan meaning “spirit of communal unity”), the play is set in a dystopian Philippines and the main characters learning how to cope with the chaos in different ways.

Created by playwright, director, and actor Guelan Varela-Luarca, Nekropolis is said to be his last play installment that is set in a dystopian Philippines, so if you’ve been following the series, you don’t wanna miss this.

3. The Manila Gin Festival – for gin enthusiasts and connoisseurs

If you consider yourself a gin enthusiast or connoisseur, then The Manila Gin Festival happening at the BGC Highstreet Amphitheater is definitely worth checking out.

4. RockAJaya II: Skull Army Night – rock your night away

If you like jamming sessions and head-banging to some rock music, then going to RockAJaya II happening at Eastside by Sandugo Music in Marikina is a must-go for you.

5. Circus Music Festival 2 – jam with various OPM artists

The Circus Music Festival happening at the Globe Circuit Event Grounds in Makati is a great event to check out if you’re a major OPM fan. This Coachella-like festival will let you jam to live performances by well-known artists from Parokya ni Edgar to Sponge Cola.

If you’ve watched the Korean drama Boys Over Flowers, then you’ll definitely recognize actor, singer, and songwriter Kim Hyun Joong. He graced the country with his presence during his last world tour, BIO-RHYTHM. Now, he’s back yet again for his Kim Hyun Joong World Tour: The End of a Dream happening at MetroTent in Pasig City.

8. Clark Aurora Music Fest – be part of the country’s largest music festival

For some people, traveling beyond the metro might be a bit much, but if you want to jam and hang with various well-known OPM artists, then a few hours of traveling will be worth it. The Clark Aurora Music Fest happening at Clark Global City in Pampanga is the place to be, this April.

Being the largest music festival in the country, you’ll get to enjoy two days of live performances by famous artists such as Ben&Ben, Silent Sanctuary, and Arthur Nery.
