Hilton Manila Is Now Offering ‘Vubble Pods’ So You Can Isolate While Dining Outdoors In 2021

Hilton Manila’s bubble pods for diners

COVID-19 has changed the way we dine, with restaurants adapting to social distancing measures to limit guests. Some establishments in the metro, such as Hilton Manila in Pasay, have taken it a step further by putting up modern-looking transparent bubble pods – nicknamed ‘vubble pods’ – for guests to enjoy dining in isolated spaces under a starry night sky.

Located within Resorts World Manila, the Hilton Manila is now offering air-conditioned bubble pods, or ‘vubble pods’, situated beside the hotel’s swimming pool.

Adorned with leaves and flowers, each pod is perfect for couples looking forward to a new, romantic dining experience in 2021 while social distancing.

Dinner starts at P10,000 for two

At P10,000 (~USD208) for two, a dinner in one of their six pods offers you a welcome cocktail, gourmet entrées, and main courses coupled with wines and desserts. You can choose between a grilled chicken caesar or tuna tartar for starters, then garlic butter prawns and rib eye steak or a grilled half tiger lobster for the main course. Desserts include a delectable selection of European desserts such as compote and butterscotch ice cream.

If you’re dining with friends, there’s an additional fee of P5,000 per person, up to a maximum of 4 guests. And as for the pod’s COVID-19 safety, you’re limiting the amount of people you interact with when you dine inside, as compared to when you’re eating in a regular restaurant.

The pod’s ventilation system is also taken care of, as each pod is air-conditioned and lets air in from the top to allow fresh air inside.

Hilton Manila also offers staycation packages with buffet breakfasts
