Just like in its flagship store in Bonifacio High Street, this Mitsukoshi BGC branch has an Instagram and TikTok-worthy mural artwork by Japanese illustrator Yuko Shimizu who’s based in New York.

The artwork shows Filipino students and Japanese characters reading while riding a tricycle surrounded by books.

Bookworms can still browse and purchase new and classic titles here, whether they’re in Filipino, English, or Japanese.

Fully Booked x Kinokuniya is now open in The Fort, BGC

Diving into the Japanese culture through this collaboration of two bookstores from the Philippines and Japan will be an interesting experience.
