Cafe Kitsuné is opening first branch at The Podium

If you’re one of those folks who loves staying at a cafe because of its warm, intimate atmosphere that helps you be productive while consuming your drink in style, you’ll get to enjoy your cappuccinos with French-Japanese cool soon. Cafe Kitsune, along with sister brand Maison Kitsune, is opening its first branch in the Philippines at The Podium.

The restaurant, which is part of the lifestyle house Kitsune, is known for its French and Japanese aesthetic and menu.

Founded by Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki in 2002, the Kitsune label is a group of several brands including fashion label Maison Kitsune and Kitsuné Musique which sells vinyl records.

It is known for having a comprehensive menu, starting with its beverages such as espressos, Americanos, lattes, and teas. One of the bestselling drinks is the matcha latte, complete with latte art.

The food menus in their branches, meanwhile, are curated with comfort food and signature French and Japanese dishes from the Kitsune burger to kaiseki, a traditional Japanese multi-course dinner, to croque monsieur, a French sandwich filled with ham and cheese. Here’s hoping that these Instaperfect bites will come to our Philippine branch too.

Many of its cafe’s outlets worldwide house a shop, where visitors can also buy accessories from plates to mugs to serve guests at home. Hopefully, the soon-to-open branch at The Podium will be big enough to offer Cafe Kitsune’s ready-to-wear t-shirts too.
