It’s a tricky situation when our furry friends require medical care during an outbreak. You wonder if your pet’s needs should also still be considered essential when most establishments except hospitals and public markets are closed.
Thanks to our officials from the Department of Agriculture, the confusion was cleared, as veterinary clinics were eventually allowed to operate under a skeletal force. Our pets’ needs are indeed important during an outbreak, after all.
Here are 10 veterinary clinics around Metro Manila that will welcome your pets’ urgent needs with open arms while we are still on quarantine.

1. Vets in Practice – open on a by-appointment basis

Vets in Practice has thankfully opened their branches in Mandaluyong, Quezon City, Alabang, and Fort on a by-appointment basis. Call the hospital first to book your slot, as only those with immediate needs at the moment are encouraged to go to their branches, and walk-ins are not allowed.

Social distancing is observed too as owners won’t be allowed inside their premises. Pets should be put on a carrier and handed over to a staff member instead. Consultation with the veterinarian on duty will be done over the phone.
Owners whose pets are fine but simply running out of food supplies can also contact the hospital for delivery of the following pet food brands: Apoquel, Cazitel, Revolution, Simparica, and Pet Tabs.

2. Animal House Veterinary Clinic – vaccination for puppies, critical care, and emergency cases

One of the long-standing veterinary clinics in the metro, branches of Animal House Veterinary Clinic in New Manila, Makati, Alabang, and Binondo are open for vaccination for puppies’ critical care, and emergency cases only.

3. Vetlife Animal Clinic – no mask, no entry

For southies, branches of Vetlife Animal Clinic in Pasay, Makati, and Paranaque accommodate our pets with emergency needs, but they emphasize strict social distancing measures such as the wearing of masks. No mask, no entry here.

4. PetLink – grooming services and medical care

For those of who live in the northern part of Metro Manila, if your pet has also been needing the salon like us humans do as the quarantine goes on, the Malabon and Navotas branches of PetLink provide grooming services during the quarantine period. All three branches including the Caloocan branch are open for veterinary needs as well.

They are implementing a one-patient rule inside the clinic as part of their preventive measures.
Plus, the clinic is offering free online consultations for your pets on Mondays to Saturdays from 8AM-5PM – just phone or message them to book your pet’s slot.

5. Pet House Pet Clinic & Grooming Center – all five branches in QC now open daily

QC folks, all five branches of Pet House Pet Clinic & Grooming Center in Maginhawa, Sikatuna Village, Katipunan, Timog, and Don Antonio are now open daily, but do expect additional precautionary measures.

6. Pendragon Veterinary Clinic – open for emergency cases and follow up OPD

We hope your pet doesn’t need emergency care during an outbreak, but if worse comes to worst, you can always turn to Pendragon Veterinary Clinic. They will be available to accommodate your concerns on an on-call basis 24/7. ER Cases though will require you to pay additional charges.
