Pangako Sa’Yo & The General’s Daughter are coming to Netflix
Teleseryes (TV series) have always been the Philippine TV network ABS-CBN’s strongest suit. After all, the network birthed iconic TV series Pangako Sa’Yo and The General’s Daughter. These two teleseryes will be available on Netflix come 10th and 17th September, respectively, as announced by ABS-CBN on 26th August.

Pangako Sa’Yo, starring top actors Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla originally aired from May 2015 to February 2016. The two played lovers Yna Macaspac and Angelo Buenavista respectively. And their characters’ lives have been intertwined before they were born, as their parents used to be in love with each other.
KathNiel’s 2015 prime time TV series is a remake of the 2000 teleserye of the same title. In the original, the love team EchoTin, or Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa, played Angelo and Yna.
The General’s Daughter

On the other hand, The General’s Daughter is an original action-drama TV series aired from January to October 2019.
The story follows 2nd liutenant Rhian Bonifacio (Angel Locsin), a military nurse who is actually a spy set out by her rebel leader father against the brigadier general of the armed forces. However, Rhian’s mission takes a turn when she finds out that her real father is the brigadier general she was supposed to kill.
Besides Locsin, The General’s Daughter features a spectacular cast, including veteran actors such as Tirso Cruz III, Albert Martinez, Eula Valdes, and Maricel Soriano.
KathNiel, Angel Locsin teleseryes coming to Netflix on September
With Pangako Sa’Yo and The General’s Daughter coming to Netflix in September, KathNiel and Angel Locsin fans will now be able to stream these shows, ad-free.
Apart from these two series, the ABS-CBN teleseryes A Love to Last starring Bea Alonzo and Ian Veneracion and The Law of Revenge – better known as Ang sa Iyo ay Akin on Philippine TV – starring Jodi Sta. Maria, Iza Calzado, and Sam Milby, are also available on the global streaming website.
