Barbie Imperial transforms into a real-life Barbie doll
Sometimes, when your on-screen name is Barbie, you really have to live up to it. Thus actress Barbie Imperial, who celebrated her 23rd birthday last 1st August, did a series of photoshoots that saw her donning outfits in different themes – including a Barbie doll-inspired photoshoot.
Surrounded by everything pink, the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate went all out by wearing a long blonde wig and pink dress to look like the popular doll.

Imperial uploaded a photo from her shoot on Instagram with a caption that encourages her fans to “live their dream.”
“You can be anything!” she said. “Be your own doll, be who you want to be, and live your dream. Let your colorful imagination blossom into a bouquet of playful possibilities.” And she certainly walks the talk.

La Belle Fete, an event planning team behind Barbie’s 23rd birthday photoshoots, described the photoshoot’s set as the “pinnacle” of the actress’s glam shots as it “encapsulates the birthday of a Barbie doll.”
The set’s layout was also meant to be fun and bubbly, decorated with a pink closet and a set of furniture lined with black strokes that added a three-dimensional giant doodle effect to the setup.
“Each set evokes empowerment – no matter the dresses Barbie wears or what role she portrays. ‘You can be anything!’ Barbie believes that if you set your heart into something and work hard for it, the fantasy will become a reality; the lioness in you will roar with courage, and you will celebrate life to the fullest,” La Belle Fete added in its Instagram post.
