The place is an art gallery-slash-cafe so it’s as if you visited two places at once. Plus, it also has nature views that’ll help you relax before you return to the city and to your day-to-day life.

Balinsasayaw is located in a minimalist structure that makes the perfect canvas for its gallery.
Most of the art you’ll see here are realist and abstract paintings of plants, flowers, birds, and people that’ll make great pieces in your living room or in the hallways of your home or office.
You won’t only get to beautify your space and support local artists when you buy an artwork from Balinsasayaw either. The profit from these art pieces will be used to build an orphanage in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

While other art galleries don’t allow you to bring in food, Balinsasayaw has a cafe inside its art gallery complete with tables where you can enjoy food, drinks, and artworks all at the same time.
You can get Americanos or a variety of lattes, hot or iced, starting at P100 (~USD1.81). A must-try drink is their Espresso Rum, a liquor-infused coffee, that goes for P190 (~USD3.43).
If you’re not into caffeine, they also have refreshing beverages such as peach mango, lychee peach, and teas in flavors such as mango lemon and passionfruit lemon.

You can also have cakes and pastries to go with your drink. For cakes, they have strawberry cake, blueberry cheesecake, salted caramel cheesecake and more, subject to availability.
They have cupcakes in variants such as red velvet, apple cinnamon, and salted caramel (P80, ~USD1.44).
For something less sweet, opt for muffins (from P90, ~USD1.62). They have these in orange or banana, which you can get plain or with chocolate chip or walnuts.

Besides artworks, you can also enjoy views of nature when you dine in Balinsasayaw. Its structure has large windows that provide views of trees and shaped bushes.
