Gaming Library’s All aBoard XP
It isn’t every day that we see gaming spaces that give us only one purpose – to play as many games as we want till closing time for a flat fee.
We went to All aBoard XP in Uptown Mall, BGC, a newly opened gaming space that offers just that, with game masters who’ll help you choose the right games that’ll suit your tastes. Prove your mettle by playing against a game master here to win a free game!
A wide range of board and card games
According to the manager we spoke to, what makes the board game play space unique is that it offers designer games such as Blood Rage, Catan, and Ankh: Gods of Egypt that might not be known by many.
You’ll be able to play creative games such as Takenoko, a cute bamboo and gardening game, at Gaming Library’s play spaces.
What’s more, you can get these designer games such as Islebound: Metropolis, Arcs All In, and Marvel United – All In from P500-P25,000 (~USD8.73-USD436.02) to take home and play with friends and family.
Game Masters are here to help
Once you get there, you’ll also notice some of the staff referred to as “game masters” who are available any time to teach you how to play a game new to you or help you choose a game you’ll like.
Feel free to ask them for recommendations as well – you may be surprised by the games they chose for you and your friends to play.
Beat the Game Master challenge
If you’re up for the challenge, put your skills to the test and play against one of the game masters at the venue. You can play a game of your choosing and get a chance to take home a free board or card game if you win.
Simply approach one of the game masters and let the challenge commence.
Board game café-style gaming space
The gaming space is suitable for all ages. The games can be as easy as putting tiles together for kids and as difficult as using strategic skills for adults.
Additionally, the gaming space’s bright and open aesthetic creates a familiar, comfortable ambiance for guests to easily come in and play games for the whole day.
