The Curator – one of “Asia’s 50 Best Bars”
Makati has always been a go-to spot for bar-hopping and the night life. The Curator in Legazpi Village, for example, is a bar that’s popular with guests in the know. And rightfully so, The Curator was hailed as “The Best Bar in The Philippines” in 2019 and 2021. They’re even included in the list of 50 Best‘s “Asia’s 50 Best Bars”.
This year, the popular cocktail bar is making history once again as it’s back on the list at number 34. What’s more, they also reclaimed the title of The Best Bar in The Philippines 2023.

Asia’s 50 Best Bars comes from the 50 Best publication brand. They focus on showcasing the best of gastronomy and cocktails produced from all around the world. Over the years, 50 Best branched out to start lists for Asia and Latin America. Thus, “Asia’s 50 Best Bars” list was launched in 2016.
Ranking number 38 in 2021, The Curator Coffee & Cocktails – now known as The Curator – took their level up a notch as they came in at number 34 on this year’s list. 50 Best praised them on their “excellent range of coffees from across the Asian region”, as well as their “suitably impressive cocktails.”

Aside from making the list for the past seven years – this year included – the bar also reclaimed the title of The Best Bar in The Philippines this year. Of course, they were commended for their “bright and breezy” coffee space and being an “understated bar that majors in Filipino spirits.”

Moreover, 50 Best praised their cocktail menu, which was “beautifully designed” and “filled with fun descriptions.”
Reclaiming its spot
This achievement undoubtedly earned a well-deserved spot on our list of notable accomplishments in the Philippines this year.
