That’s why we’re bringing you this list of brand new hotels in the Philippines that have opened or that are opening this year, in and beyond Metro Manila.

Less than 1KM from Clark International Airport and located in the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga, the 372-room Swissôtel Clark boasts a Swiss Executive Lounge for suite-stayers. It offers free daily breakfast and all-day refreshments that business travellers working all day or those meeting partners from abroad would appreciate.
Rooms start at P6,563 (~USD126.26) and have free WiFi, lounge chairs, a work desk, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and generously sized bathrooms.

Try Kapampangan fare at the in-house restaurant Nasi, Swiss food at Markt, pan-Asian favorites at Spice, or post-midnight drinks at Bar 20.
Snack and dessert counters, as well as a Korean and Italian restaurant, are expected to open soon.

2. Novotel Suites Manila At Acqua – riverside views and proximity to three business districts

Open for bookings from July 2022 onwards, the Novotel Suites Manila At Acqua is located among the Mandaluyong City riverfront, a short drive from Mandaluyong City Hall and along the Pasig River Ferry route. Rooms from P4,954 (~USD95.26) come with spacious beds, Wi-Fi, and free pool and gym access.

You’ll be a short drive from both the Makati City and Ortigas Center, and Bonifacio Global City business areas, and the hotel helps you take advantage of this location with its free shuttle service to nearby landmarks and by helping you arrange a local ferry ride. Hit up its 21st-floor cafe, bar, and lounge for a view of the city.

3. Go Hotels Tuguegarao – newest hotel in the growing Cagayan Valley city

With rooms going from P2,940 (~USD56.40), Go Hotels Tuguegarao is 9 minutes from Tuguegarao Airport and 10 minutes from downtown, within walking distance to the newest mall, Robinsons Place Tuguegarao.
Tuguegarao may be known more for its ancient cathedrals, pancit batil patong stalls, and prehistoric caves such as Callao Cave and Sierra Cave rather than flashier attractions but its growing economy means that more visitors may come in for work and find this an easy choice to be based in.

4. Summit Hotel Naga – connected to a shopping complex

Part of the Robinsons Naga Complex, Summit Hotel Naga‘s 60 rooms start from P3,235 (~USD62.02) and had its soft opening to guests in January 2022. It’s a short 30-minute drive to Naga City Airport, and you’ll be within walking distance of Robinsons Place Naga, ALDP Mall, and Win Win Mall to get any item or personal service you need.

An outdoor swimming pool, kids’ pool, and gym will keep the family busy while meeting and event spaces are available too. Café Summit dishes up modern Bicolano cuisine – the Kinilas Ramen (P250, ~USD4.79) – egg noodles, beef, bokchoy, tofu, narutomaki or fish paste cake, and sriracha mayo on the menu catches our eye.

5. Admiral Hotel Manila – MGallery – views of Manila Bay and easy access to Intramuros

A stone’s throw away from scenic Manila Bay, the Admiral Hotel Manila – MGallery‘s 123 rooms and suites start at a spacious 31 sqm, with free WiFi, pool and gym access, bookable meeting rooms, and dining aplenty. The hotel is scheduled to open on 15th May 2022 – check back on its socials for updates.
We wouldn’t miss the Admiral Club restaurant starring a Filipino and Hispanic fusion tapas bar with animated 3D projections on your cuisine, but there’s also an old Shanghai-themed Ruby Wong’s Godown and a rooftop Coconut Grove bar where you can catch sunset views.

This is also an easy place to tour classic Manila attractions as it’s close to Intramuros, Rizal Park, the National Museum of the Philippines, and the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

6. The Westin Manila Sonata Place – convenient Ortigas CBD location

The 32-floor hotel block of The Westin Manila Sonata Place, beside its 50-floor condominium block, emphasises wellness – starting from the hotel brand’s famous Westin Heavenly Beds. 7. Citadines Greenhills Manila – condo-style stays half an hour from the Ortigas CBD

With 280 rooms, the Citadines Greenhills Manila is technically a serviced residence, but visiting businesspeople might see it fit to book for long stays as well thanks to its proximity to the Ortigas CBD. Prices are to be announced.
You’ll be a stone’s throw from the Greenhills Mall that’ll not leave you wanting for dining, shopping, groceries, electronics, or banking facilities – but we recommend visiting with a local to sniff out the best deals.
Residents at the studio and one-bedroom units can make full use of the lounge and swimming pool. 24-hour reception and Wi-Fi are free, while business center, daily breakfast, and childcare services are available for a fee.

8. lyf Cebu City- in the heart of Cebu’s upcoming business district and near its historical hub

lyf Cebu City‘s co-living space concept will place you near shopping areas such as the Robinsons Fuente mall, the Fuente Osmeña Circle and its famous fountain and public park, and the historic art deco-style Cebu Provincial Capitol.
You’ll be half an hour from the waterfront that’s tourable by bicycle, the historic Colon Street dating from 1565 with street food galore, and The Heritage Of Cebu Monument – a tribute to our early freedom fighters.

9. Fili Urban Resort, Cebu – first Cebu integrated casino resort hotel to open
The hotel will be located within the casino and entertainment complex on Kawit Island

Within Kawit Island’s NUSTAR Resort and Casino, Cebu’s first integrated resort, Fili Urban Resort will be the first of three hotels on site to open in May 2022.
With 379 rooms, a convention center and meeting rooms, shopping, a spa, pools, a hot tub, and gym, the resort offers an airport shuttle service, childcare, butler, and car rental service for a fee so business visitors will have everything taken care of.
30 minutes from Cebu airport, the resort will be near a jetty with passenger boats coming to and from Mactan Island, an arts center, cinemas, and a theme park.

As more and more new hotels in the Philippines are opening after pandemic construction delays, this means more choices for international and domestic travellers coming to the Philippines.
