While fans are excited for Bieber’s concert in Manila, many have also expressed their disappointment about the small concert venue such that “change the venue” trended on Twitter. There’s also an ongoing online petition for this request.

According to fans, an outdoor venue is also not suitable as the event will fall during rainy season. At the same time, a multi-level venue would allow fans to see the artist better.

Fans also said that the Canadian singer and Filipino Beliebers deserve better. Bieber had his first and only other concert in the Philippines in 2011. In 2017, he was supposed to have his Purpose tour concert at the world’s largest indoor arena, the Philippine Arena, but it was cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
