Fully Booked & Kinokuniya opens in Taguig
Otakus and Japanese language learners will be thrilled as Fully Booked has partnered with the famous Japanese bookstore chain, Kinokuniya, for its 31st branch at the new Mitsukoshi BGC Japanese mall in Taguig.
Some Fully Booked branches, including their flagship store, have long been carrying English-translated versions of manga and Japanese books. This time, the Mitsukoshi BGC store has a wider selection of Japanese and English-translated versions.

Just like in its flagship store in Bonifacio High Street, this Mitsukoshi BGC branch has an Instagram and TikTok-worthy mural artwork by Japanese illustrator Yuko Shimizu who’s based in New York.
The artwork shows Filipino students and Japanese characters reading while riding a tricycle surrounded by books.

As a collaboration between two established bookstores, Fully Booked and Kinokuniya at BGC still offers non-Japanese books from fiction to non-fiction to self-help books as usual.
Bookworms can still browse and purchase new and classic titles here, whether they’re in Filipino, English, or Japanese.
Fully Booked x Kinokuniya is now open in The Fort, BGC
