Uniqlo brings Pokemon T-shirts to the Philippines
Imagine the Pokemon universe in the year 3020. It’s mind-blowing to leap forward 1,000 years from now, but American artist Daniel Arsham was able to bring this future to fruition in collaboration with Uniqlo. The brand’s new line of Pokemon T-shirts depicts crystallized versions of popular Pokemon characters, courtesy of Arsham.
After a long wait, Filipino Pokemon trainers can finally get their hands on the shirts as Uniqlo Philippines has launched the collection in local stores.

Pokémon characters as sculptures 1,000 years from now
The t-shirts are inspired by Arsham’s sculptural collection of Pokemon titled Relics of Kanto Through Time. The collection features the characters decaying and fossilizing, and these relics were translated onto the Uniqlo shirts as sketches.

For men, there are five designs to choose from. The Pikachu version is printed onto a plain black tee. Unlike other tees in the collection, this one features Pikachu as a sculpture, not a sketch. It’s available in four sizes – small, medium, large, and extra large. Each tee is priced at P790 (~USD15.86).

There’s also a version emblazoned with a sketch of a crystallized Pokemon logo. The t-shirt is available in white, with sizes ranging from small to extra large.

Women can choose from two designs – Pikachu and Jigglypuff. Sizes range from small to extra large and also cost P790 (~USD15.86) each.
