Chris Hemsworth coming to Manila
Heads up, Marvel fans! Chris Hemsworth – who’s most famous as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – is coming to Manila in June.
The Australian actor will be in the country to attend a red carpet premiere. It will be for his upcoming action movie Extraction 2 on 5th June 2023.

Extraction 2 is an action-thriller film based on the graphic novel Ciudad. It’s the sequel to the 2020 film Extraction, which Hemsworth also led.
The plot follows black ops mercenary Tyler Rake (Hemsworth) whose mission is to rescue a gangster’s family in prison.
The duology is produced by Joe and Anthony Russo who have directed several Marvel movies and have most recently produced the award-winning film, Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022).
Extraction 2 will be released on Netflix on 16th June 2023.
Asia-Pacific stop

The Philippines is the only Asia-Pacific stop in Hemsworth’s tour for Extraction 2.
The actor will also visit Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, USA, and Brazil for the film’s red carpet premieres.
