Hyun Bin is Bench’s newest ambassador
After a month of teasing from our favorite local clothing brand Bench, the official campaign spread has finally revealed Hyun Bin as its official ambassador.
“The captain is here. This is not a drill. We’re officially welcoming Hyun Bin to the BENCH/ fam Steady those hearts and stay tuned for a dose of your newest #GlobalBENCHSetter #HyunBinForBENCH,” Bench announced on its Facebook page, as it welcomed the actor, widely known for playing Captain Ri in his latest hit Korean drama Crash Landing On You.
Clad in everyday outfits
In his official Bench campaign, the actor is clad in a set of everyday outfits, wearing comfortable denim button-downs, gray sweaters, a T-shirt emblazoned with a ‘Captain’ print, among others, that you can gift your oppa IRL so he could have a wardrobe update that’s Hyun Bin approved.

The clothes are easy on the wallet, too – you won’t have a problem snagging these goodies except when they just sell out fast. The denim-colored button-down (above) is going at only P899 (~USD18.21), while the grey sweater printed with “feel good” (below) is selling at only P799 (~USD16.19).

Is Hyun Bin coming to the Philippines soon?
While there are rumours that Hyun Bin is planning to make a trip here, there’s no confirmation yet on when the actor will/can meet and greet his fans in the Philippines. Philstar.com has also reported that two local brands – Smart Communications and Bench – are looking to see who can ‘crash-land’ the actor first on our shores.
But one thing’s for sure – Hyun Bin himself has confirmed that when he finally can visit the country, he would take the time to express gratitude by “meeting with my Filipino fans first.”
Hyun Bin is now the face of a Philippine clothing brand, Bench
Hyun Bin is indeed one of the hottest K-drama actors today who can best model everyday, comfortable clothing. So it’s no wonder Bench chose him to be their ambassador. And we know stans of the K-drama royalty who have followed him through his acting journey, from his My Lovely Sam Soon to CLOY days, will be looking forward to hosting him in the Philippines.
