Mom throws daughter an Encanto-themed birthday party
The Disney movie, Encanto, has been all the rage among Filipino families since it came out in November 2021 and many Filipino kids immediately became fans of the movie. Carrah, daughter of Christine “Tin” Gianan, is one of them.
With Carrah’s sixth birthday coming up, Gianan decided to throw her an Encanto-themed birthday party with the whole family dressing up as the characters in the movie.

Before her daughter’s birthday, Gianan had been self-isolating due to testing positive for Covid-19. According to a Smart Parenting article, Gianan and her family had watched the movie back in December and they ended up liking it, especially her daughter, Carrah.

While recovering in isolation, Gianan would hear her daughter repeatedly watching the movie and singing the songs.
At the same time, she was also thinking about party themes for her daughter’s upcoming birthday. She thought it was fitting for the party to be Encanto-themed since her daughter loved it.

Additionally, the Encanto-themed birthday party also turned into a costume party. Despite missing a few characters, the whole family dressed up as the characters in the Disney movie, from Abuela Alma to Dolores.

Thankfully, Gianan was able to prepare everything on time and the party became a success.
A mother’s love for her children
In any case, this story shows how a mother like Christine would do almost anything for her children just to see them happy.
Kudos to all hardworking mothers out there!
