BTS Pop-Up: Map of The Soul Store Opens At SM Megamall From 29th May-29th Aug For Filipino ARMYs

BTS Pop-Up: Map of the Soul expected to open at SM Megamall

Lately, there has been speculation that a BTS Pop-Up store might open soon in Metro Manila ever since photos of an area at the SM Megamall’s Fashion Hall covered by a huge logo featuring two trapezoids went viral around the end of April.

Thankfully, we’re not left in the dark anymore, as it’s already confirmed that a BTS Pop-Up: Map of the Soul store will open in Metro Manila – and it will welcome fans in 5 days!

UPDATE: Reservation details about the BTS Pop-Up: Map of the Soul store that will open at Level 3, Mega Fashion Hall, SM Megamall, have just been released. Guests are required to secure an online reservation through the following link that’s open for reservations every Wednesday from 26th May to 16th June 2021.

The Pop-Up store will open from 29th May to 29th August

As confirmed by a tweet on 23rd May from Hybe Merch, several Pop-Up stores will open in 4  Asian countries – including the Philippines – for the month of May.

The tweet did not include the exact location of the store in Metro Manila, but it’s expected to open at the Fashion Hall of SM Megamall, as shown by the teaser post on 29th April of the mall’s Facebook page. “Hi ARMY! Something Dynamite is opening soon at SM Megamall,” the post’s caption read.

Fans can expect unlimited merch & photo ops

To give Filipino ARMYs an idea on what they can look forward to saving up for, the BTS Map of the Soul Pop-Up store that opened in our fellow Southeast Asian country Singapore from November 2020 to April 2021 housed a variety of everyday products from face towels to gel pens to laptop pouches with the lyrics to ON – “Bring The Pain” – inscribed.

The Singapore store also had TinyTAN figurines of BTS members in their MIC Drop MV looks, so if there will also be similar standees of our boys at the Map of the Soul Pop-Up store at Megamall, fans should ready their cameras and poses to take the most Instagrammable photos.

Reservations may be required

ARMYs will surely flock to the Pop-Up store, so fans may also be required to book a slot first before visiting the store, like how the BTS Pop-Up store in Bangkok is operating.

The upcoming Pop-Up store at Megamall might also only give out tickets that are each valid for an allotted period of time.

BTS Pop-Up store to open in Manila

No thanks to COVID-19, we’ve had to suspend our pilgrimages to South Korea and wait out a BTS concert for a while after the band’s Map of the Soul World Tour was postponed last year.

But while a pop-up store will not let us see the boys IRL, it’s the closest we can get to our Bangtan Boys while we’re in a pandemic!
