We have a new Miss Philippines Earth, and she fits the title perfectly.
Yllana Marie Aduana was crowned the coveted title on 29th April 2023 in Toledo, Cebu, besting 28 other aspirants.
Hailing from Laguna, 24-year-old Yllana Marie Aduana is a medical laboratory scientist and model.
She has been a longstanding advocate for the environment.
Aduana is the president of the non-profit organization she co-founded with her sister, Edukasyon for Every Juan, where they promote Earth Education.
For the last Q&A portion of the competition, the final five candidates answered the same question: “What do you think people in the future would say about your generation?”
Aduana’s winning answer goes, “I would definitely say that our generation, although [we are] misconstructed as very ardent, I would have to say that we use our voice for a reason. And that is to always speak up for the things that we know are right, and for the things we know we deserve, and that is why we are very ardent about it.”
“And that is why I am also conducting colloquiums on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and their interconnectedness to the nature in hopes to precipitate people’s eco-consciousness because our future is the linebackers and the pioneers of environmental amelioration and we should always take advantage of it at all costs.” she continued.

Yllana Marie Aduana first joined Miss Philippines Earth’s virtual edition in 2021. Placing as one of the five runners-up.
In 2022, with her unwavering determination and passion, she placed in Binibining Pilipinas’ Top 12.
Her third attempt – and success – proves that hard work pays off. We stan a persistent queen.
As the country eyes on our fifth Miss Earth Crown, we’re optimistic that Aduana will shine in the competition. Rightfully giving light to environmental issues in the country and across the earth.
We congratulate Yllana Marie Aduana and wish her good luck on this year’s Miss Earth pageant!
