You’d think that the Starbucks branch at Domicilio Design Hotel is just another coffee shop from afar, but once you step inside, you’ll be in awe of its glorious views of the Taal Lake and volcano.

It’s minimalistic in its approach to design – transparent glasses surround the area, while its roofing emphasizes the geometrical simplicity of lines. The chairs are also as plain as possible, industrial-style instead of luxurious.

Before, Greenbelt 3’s Starbucks outlet was one of your standard Starbucks stores around the corner. But as it just reopened in November, the branch will now greet you with walls painted in lovely pastel pink complemented by wooden furniture and grey tiles.

The Starbucks branch at Poblacion District in Davao City is like straight out of a painting. Fronted by a lily pond and surrounded by tall trees, it’s built like a giant, rectangular, wooden box similar in style to the mansion featured in the South Korean film Parasite.
