Rabid to stream on Upstream from 12th November

If you’re looking for a way to add some thrills to your life while staying in the safety of your home, watching horror and thriller films are a good way to get your stress-relieving dose of adrenaline. For a refreshing take on horror, check out Erik Matti’s Rabid that’s coming out from 12th November to 12th January 2022 on Upstream.

The film tells how the uncertainty brought about by the pandemic lockdowns can drive people into madness.

Horror anthology film set in a pandemic

This one hour and 44-minute horror film has four parts. These are titled “HM,” “Kami Lang Ba Pwede Malasin,” “Shit Happens,” and “Iba Pa Rin Ang Karne”. They are distinct but interrelated stories that promise to show something bizarre out of the familiar background of the pandemic lockdowns.

Rabid also stars new actors as well as theater veterans, including Brace Arquiza, Cheska Diaz, Donna Cariaga, Jake Macapagal, Jay Glorioso, Ricci Rivero, Ube Lola, and Vance Larena.
