It was quite a bummer when PPOPCON announced its postponement a couple of months back. Well, now, P-pop fans won’t have to wait any longer.
This is because PPOPCON Manila 2023 is happening this month, ready to offer you lots of fun with fan activities, prizes, and most of all, performances by your beloved P-pop groups and artists.

PPOPCON is a fan convention and concert that started in 2022 dedicated to P-pop groups who reformed the style of the P-pop music genre – taking inspiration from K-pop and J-pop. Here, P-pop fans can gather, celebrate their love for P-pop, and interact with their favorite artists.

In 2022, the event was held during the first half of the year. Upon its postponement in March, PPOPCON announced in June 2023 that this year’s event will be held this July.

PPOPCON has come up with various activities that everyone can check out. The two-day convention will consist of fan signing events, activities such as games and raffles, and fan booths that offer a variety of merchandise.

Additionally, there’ll be sing-and-dance competitions with free concert tickets as the prize. What’s more, you can also show off your creative side by posting your P-pop-inspired works on the LIKHA fan art board at the convention. They also have something new called HATAW, where fans can get the chance to dance with P-pop artists on stage.
Running from 14th to 16th July 2023, the convention will be held at Gateway Mall 2’s Quantum Skyview while the concert will be held in Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
If you think about it, the PPOPCON postponement was kind of a blessing in disguise. Admission to the convention is now free and there’ll even be a worldwide streaming option for online viewers.
From the fan-signing events to the contests to the concert, the wait will have been worth it.
If interested, you can get concert tickets at TicketNet outlets nationwide or on their website at ticketnet.com.ph.
