As mentioned, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) is set to host a series of planetarium shows and a stargazing session for only one day this month.

The planetarium shows will give viewers an immersive experience through visual projections. And aside from being a great way to end the night, the stargazing session is also where you’ll know more about constellations and other extraterrestrial bodies in the galaxy.

This momentous event is a great way for astronomy fans to learn more and just geek out in a whole ‘nother world that’s in space.

Just to remind you, the planetarium shows and stargazing session are completely free and available for walk-ins.

To be held this 10th October 2023, you’ll be able to choose between morning (from 8am-11am) and afternoon (1pm-3pm) shows. Also, you may choose between two presentations: The Sky Tonight or From Earth to the Universe. You can even watch both if you wanted to as each show only lasts for 45 minutes.

The shows will take place at the PAGASA Planetarium while the stargazing session (from 7pm-10pm) will be held at the PAGASA Astronomical Observatory in Quezon City.
