While we cannot easily fly to South Korea at the moment to do our shopping in their famous streets such as Myeongdong, we can still experience something Korean even on our shores. If you miss the thrill of roaming around market districts in the land of your oppas, check out SM Mall of Asia K-Fest, featuring a bazaar where you can shop K-food and beauty finds and photo spots such as the K-Pop Neon Alley.
The festival started on 1 July and will be held until the 18th.

As restrictions are now being slowly eased and we can look forward to going out more often, stock up your makeup items with your favorite Korean makeup brands. The K-day Fair, located at Level 1, South Main Mall, is lined with stalls of many Korean beauty brands such as Nature Republic, Leaders, Face Republic, Laneige, and Esfolio.

When you’re famished from all the shopping, try the food stalls at the K-day Fair such as the Romantic Korean Hotdog stall, which serves hotdogs (starts at P49, ~USD0.99) covered with potatoes, cheddar, and sticky rice.
Take home snacks and drinks endorsed by your favorite Korean celebrities and idols as well, such as the Bibigo Kimbap Seaweed Wrap item featuring Park Seo Joon and Pepsi bottles graced by Blackpink’s Jisoo.
There are various Korean restaurants at the MOA Complex when you or your besties haven’t had lunch or dinner yet!

Pose or jive to K-Pop songs at the Neon Alley, located at Level 1, South Main Mall, which is lined with blue and violet neon lights, or reenact drama scenes at K-drama Photo Spot at Level 2, Main Mall.
There’s a lot of things to do at the K-Fest that will indeed excite many Korean culture fans!
Making our way to South Korea may not be easy for now, but if you’re nearby SM Mall of Asia, drop by the mall’s Korean festival, where you can find all things Korean – from makeup to food to photo spots.
