Food spots with lush scenery are hard to come by in the metro, so people often travel to Cavite for these. Luckily for those who live in the northern part of Metro Manila, there’s a new addition to Rizal’s cafes and restaurants – Gaea’s Kitchen.
At this Tanay restaurant, you can enjoy your food with fantastic views, including one of their flower terraces. It also serves farm-to-table recipes with vegetables from its organic farm.

Named after the Greek goddess of the earth, Gaea’s Kitchen boasts a view of its flower terraces you can enjoy from the restaurant all year round. You can even go outside and take pictures of and with the flowers up close.
If you look further, you’ll also be able to see Laguna Lake and the windmills at Pililla Wind Farm.
Plus, Gaea’s Kitchen offers a stunning view of the sunset from the restaurant.

The restaurant itself is in a two-story modern structure. Its spacious interior has a modern tropical design, with wood furnishings.
To welcome natural light and so you can best enjoy the restaurant’s scenic views, the structure also has floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

For a filling main dish for brunch, lunch, or dinner, get their grilled pork chop (P750, ~USD14.38). This comes with a side of vegetables and rice pilaf, which is rice toasted in butter, before being cooked in broth and spices for flavor.

The restaurant’s food is made with veggies straight from its nearby organic farm, Gaea’s Sanctuary. Here, you can also buy fresh, organic produce, including native mangoes, saba banana, and Chinese cabbage or petsay.
Diners are also welcome to visit the farm. Similar to the flower terraces, entrance is free whether or not you’re dining at Gaea’s Kitchen.
If you’re looking for a new restaurant to visit, you should consider going to Gaea’s Kitchen. With scenic views, flower terraces, and an organic farm, it’s surely worth your trip to Tanay, Rizal.
The restaurant is open for walk-ins but it’s best to book a reservation by messaging them via text or on Facebook.
