If you want to have Chinese, Indian, and Malay food all at once, Singapore is the best country to visit. But since we’re still in the middle of a pandemic, our overseas travel plans have to wait.
Thankfully, you can experience Singapore’s melting pot of flavors in the Philippines at Bugis Singapore Street Food in Quezon City and San Juan. The restaurant serves a wide variety of recipes, from sweet breakfast foods to savory dishes.

Whether you prefer a sweet or savory breakfast, you can start your day with a meal from Bugis Singapore Street Food.
Their sweet breakfast options include a roti flatbread (P60, ~USD1.20) or a fried mantou steamed bun (P85, ~USD1.70) which you can dip in condensed milk. You can also opt for two pieces of kaya (coconut jam) toast (P85, ~USD1.70).
For a savory breakfast, on the other hand, you can get a bowl of breakfast porridge for P105 (~USD2.09) or Singaporean ramen for P145 (~USD2.89).
They also have a selection of breakfast drinks to fit any palate. These include brewed coffee, hot or cold teh tarik (hand-pulled milk tea), and Milo dinosaur – an ice-cold Milo chocolate drink with Milo powder on top.

They have a wide variety of Singaporean recipes on their menu that you’re sure to find the dish you’re craving.
Bugis Singapore Street Food sells the popular Singaporean dish – tender, steamed Hainanese chicken (P260-450, ~USD5.18-USD8.97) served with fragrant rice cooked with chicken stock, chicken fat, garlic, and ginger.
If you want a warm, comforting bowl of soup, they serve the spicy, coconut-based rice noodle dish laksa (P280, ~USD5.58) and bak kut teh (P265, ~USD5.28) which is pork ribs simmered in a complex blend of herbs.
Their impressive menu also includes a variety of other staple Singaporean recipes such as cereal shrimp, sambal kangkong (stir-fried water spinach), and char kway teow (stir-fried flat rice noodles).

Bugis Singapore Street Food has three branches in Metro Manila that are open for dine-in orders.
They have two branches in Quezon City – one in Nicanor Roxas Street near the Philippine Orthopedics Hospital and one in Banawe Street near Quezon Avenue.
In San Juan City, they also have a branch on P. Guevarra Street.

Bugis Singapore Street Food can provide in-house delivery. For this, simply message them on Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp, or call one of their branches through landline.
In case their delivery staff is busy, they can also assist you in booking a third-party courier service such as Grab or Lalamove.
For your convenience, though, you can also find the restaurant’s impressive Singaporean menu on GrabFood.
You no longer need to fly to Singapore to get a taste of the country’s diverse flavors. Simply go to Bugis Singapore Street Food in Quezon City or San Juan to enjoy Singaporean cuisine.
If you’re planning to visit one of their branches with a couple of friends, just note that they only offer limited seating at the moment due to social distancing guidelines.
