Restaurant favorites are hard to come by, especially if you’re a self-confessed food connoisseur. But if you’re looking for a new dining spot to consider in Scout Borromeo, Quezon City, check out the restaurant Borro.
This trendy restaurant that opened in December 2022 is getting known for its big servings of international comfort dishes, making them sulit for their price.

Here’s what to expect when you dine at Borro. For appetizers, they serve complimentary bread and butter. But while it’s tempting to get your fill, make sure you have room for big servings of their international comfort food.
One of their crowd-favorite dishes is the seafood marinara (P520, ~USD9.44), which uses black pasta infused with squid ink. But for a more familiar, Filipino flavor, order their beef salpicao (P410, ~USD7.44).

Whether you prefer having coffee or alcoholic drinks after a long day, you can find either of these at Borro.
They have a variety of coffee offerings (starts at P150, ~USD2.72) from cold brew and Americano to latte, including their much-raved charcoal latte. As for alcoholic beverages, they offer a selection of cocktails as well as red and white wines (from P230, ~USD4.18).
If you just want something refreshing, they also serve iced fruit teas and fruit shakes.

Borro’s interior is a mix of modern and traditional, which sets a cozy mood when you dine. It has both modern-style marble tables, wood furnishings, and terracotta floor tiles.
While the restaurant’s indoor dining area is spacious, al fresco dining is also available for those who like seeing the outdoors as they eat.

As the new, trendy restaurant in the area, there are many people already queueing to dine at Borro. However, the resto doesn’t accept reservations yet.
For a shorter wait time, we recommend avoiding peak hours when you go.
There’s no need to scour Metro Manila for a new dining spot to try. If you’ve seen Borro on social media, here’s your sign to finally check out the trending restaurant.
With big servings of international dishes, coffee, and cocktails, it guarantees a fun time with your friends, family, or your date!
