We see a fair amount of Filipino romance, drama, and action series on TV and on video streaming sites. But this year, a unique story is coming to iWantTFC starring one of today’s most sought-after young actresses, Andrea Brillantes.
The upcoming series Drag You & Me will tackle the local drag scene and Brillantes will play the lead in an unconventional role as a young woman in drag.

The show also stars Christian Bables, JC Alcantara, and KaladKaren. To be authentic to the local drag scene, real-life drag queens Precious Paula Nicole, Viñas Deluxe, Brigiding, and Xilhouete will also grace the show.
Seasoned actor and former matinee idol Romnick Sarmenta plays Brillantes’ dad who’s also a drag queen.

While ABS-CBN has been teasing the series since December 2022, there is no exact release date yet. What we know is that it’s set to come out this year.
However, the series’ exciting cast and stellar production team will make it worth the wait. Drag You & Me is produced by Dreamscape, which gave us Mara Clara (1992, 2010), 100 Days to Heaven (2011), On The Wings of Love (2015), and the ongoing series Dirty Linen and Batang Quiapo.
It’s directed by JP Habac who’s most known for his film, I’m Drunk, I Love You.
With her stellar acting in Kadenang Ginto, it’s no doubt that Andrea Brillantes will shine as a drag queen in Drag Me & You. We also can’t wait to know about the local drag scene through the series.
