Many Korean pop-culture-themed cafes in the Philippines are decked with unmistakable fan memorabilia. While this may excite many, this may be too much for low-key K-fans or those still getting acquainted with all things Korean.
For subtle K-pop and K-drama fans, Moon Cafe in Angeles, Pampanga is a must-visit, with its clean, minimalist aesthetic that most won’t even mistake as Korean pop culture-inspired at first glance.
Their logo is even a modern take on a symbol from Hotel Del Luna, which only true K-drama fans will spot. We wouldn’t be surprised if the cafe’s name also came from the drama!

Moon Cafe has a spacious, industrial minimalist interior similar to cafes seen in K-dramas. Its large windows, plentiful lighting, and white aesthetic give it a bright ambiance.
To make things look less two-dimensional, the place is also accented with wooden, black, and gray items.
The coffee shop features plenty of seats indoors, each making a good spot to snap an Insta-worthy photo. It also has an al fresco dining area for those who want to dine in an open-air space.
Whoever your Blackpink bias is, there’s a magazine for you at the cafe.

Here’s where the cafe becomes a haven for subtle Korean pop culture fans. They have magazines that have K-idols and actors on the cover, such as the girls of Blackpink, EXO’s Kai, and the well-loved Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha actor, Kim Seon-ho.
They also have books we’ve seen on Korean dramas and reality shows. These include the storybooks from the drama It’s Okay to Not Be Okay and the self-help book I Decided to Live as Me which was seen with BTS’ Jungkook in Bon Voyage Season 3.
