Burgers have been staple guilty pleasures, making our stomachs happy with the simple addictive tastiness of buns, beef patties, and veggies in one. You might think that colored burgers are only a Krusty Krab menu item, but you can actually find them in reality at Manila’s G-Spot Burger Bar. They have black, green, and pink buns, and along with these colorful features comes a burger menu you probably wouldn’t find anywhere else.

Their signature burgers, for example, include a chocolate-flavored burger called a Choco Lava Cheese (P110, ~USD2.15). It’s an addictive combination of chocolate and meat, made up of ¾ pound patty, choco syrup and choco jam. Another unique offering is Eruption (P128, ~USD2.50), an explosion of ¾ pound patty, dynamite, spicy slaw with sriracha mayo, because for a place called G-Spot Burger bar, why not?

For our vegan folks, good news. There’s a way to spoil yourself with burgers without steering from your meatless routine with 8Cuts Burger’s Falafel (P235, ~USD4.58) burger.
The meatless Falafel burger is made possible by a chickpea patty adorned by slices of onion, lettuce, and cucumber. You probably wouldn’t notice that this is not your typical beef-flavored burger too, because the chickpea patty looks equally crisp and creamy like the usual patties.

MOS Burger, considered the second most popular fast-food chain in Japan after McDonald’s, has come to the Philippines to give us a taste of their unique rice burgers.
Instead of the usual golden-yellow bread buns, the rice burgers are made up of two slices of buns compact with rice, barley, and millet. You can always start with the Yakiniku Rice Burger (P189, ~USD3.68), filled with slices of yakiniku beef strips flavored with glaze and caramelized onions.

As well as their Bacon-Wrapped Burger, Zark’s Burger also offers the Grilled Double Double (P199, ~USD3.87), packed with bacon and all things cheese.
The honey-cured bacon and beef patty melt perfectly with the notes of cheddar cheese, all the more exaggerated by the addition of macaroni and cheese.

Muntinlupa’s Hey Ho Garage Burger proves that the classic hamburger can really be reimagined in various ways, such as with their Creamson (price upon inquiry) burger, made up of fried chicken, kesong puti (white carabao milk cheese)-flavored ice cream, and a classic, toasted, golden-brown bun.
It’s part ice cream sandwich, part chicken sandwich, and part hamburger, challenging the boundaries of what a unique and next-level burger is.

POUND’S Foie Gras Burger may be unapologetic to our wallets, costing P780 (~USD15.19), but for how serious it is about delivering a juicy kick, we’re okay to splurge on this once in a while.
The larger-than-life melting pot of fatty duck liver, half-pound patty, and foie gras mousse has strips of vegetables sandwiched in between to balance out all the juicy meat.

Zark’s Burger’s Bacon-Wrapped Burger (P259, ~USD5.04) is not for the faint of heart, spoiling our senses with all the gustatory greasiness of bacon.
It’s exactly what its name implies – a burger wrapped with strips of fried bacon. The look of this burger is achieved by wrapping raw strips of bacon around a burger, then frying the whole thing in oil.
