Spiral at Sofitel Philippine Plaza is a well-known, award-winning buffet restaurant in the Philippines.

They serve a vast variety of food options and cuisines, including North Indian and Brazilian. A grand buffet restaurant, it even has a temperature-controlled cheese room that only 4 guests can enter at a time. And if you love carbonara, they make it fresh for you in a cheese wheel.

Spiral a great Metro Manila buffet option for foreign travelers who don’t have much time to spend in the Philippines. They have Filipino delicacies including lechon (roast pig), balut (boiled fertilized duck egg), and halo-halo (shaved ice dessert) which you can customize to your liking.

This luxurious buffet costs P4,999 (~USD89.07) per person but it’s all worth it if you want high-quality food. The restaurant allows walk-ins but it’s best to place a reservation.

2. Guevarra’s – Filipino-themed buffet restaurant

Guevarra’s is a Filipino buffet restaurant owned by celebrity chef Laudico Guevarra, also known as Chef Lau from Masterchef Philippines.

They’re known for their delicious takes on everyday Filipino fare. Their beef dishes, including kare-kare (oxtail peanut stew), are made with US-Certified Angus beef. This gives the dishes the perfect meat-to-fat ratio.

And don’t forget to get your fill of Filipino desserts such as champorado (chocolate rice porridge), palitaw (boiled rice cakes with coconut shavings), and suman (sticky rice cake).

Besides Filipino food, Guevarra’s also offers Western and other Asian cuisines.

Their regular buffet rate is P759 (~USD13.52) per person. It is advisable to make a reservation.

3. Fresh International Buffet – unlimited lobsters

For unlimited lobsters, head to Fresh at Solaire Resort.

They specialize in seafood dishes but are best known for their lobster buffet. Their chefs can cook these delectable crustaceans, as well as shrimp, crabs, and mussels, however you like.

Besides seafood, the restaurant also serves fruits, veggies, and other proteins, including roast beef and pork belly lechon. You even get unlimited drinks at this buffet, which includes alcohol.

Fresh’s lobster buffet starts at P2,999 (~USD53.44).  They offer this on weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays.

4. Vikings – go-to Metro Manila buffet restaurant for celebrations

Vikings is Metro Manila residents’ go-to buffet restaurant for celebrations, with several branches across the metro and a wide variety of cuisines.

But don’t be overwhelmed by their vast selection of food. For tried-and-tested menu items, try their dim sum, tempura, salmon sashimi, and baked oysters.

Vikings is also a hit dining spot for celebrations for good reason. You can dine for free if you bring 1 paying adult on your birthday or 4 paying adults on any day during your birth month.

5. Red Lantern – all-you-can-eat dim sum

For those craving dim sum and want a lot of it, dine at Red Lantern at Solaire.

Besides unlimited hakaw (shrimp dumplings) and other dumplings and buns, you can also indulge on other Chinese fare, from soups to mains to desserts.

To ensure the freshness of their dishes, these are not served buffet-style. Instead, you have to order the items you want and their wait staff will bring them to your table.

Their dim sum buffet starts at P1,288 (~USD22.95).

6. Crabaholic – unlimited seafood boil

If you just recently watched a mouthwatering seafood boil mukbang, you can replicate it at Crabaholic in Maginhawa.

Their unlimited mixed seafood offering (from P1,199, ~USD21.36) lets you eat as many crabs, shrimps, and mussels as you want. You can choose your sauce – Cajun, sweet & spicy, or butter garlic – and spice level from mild to fire.

The first serving also includes squid, scallops, tuna, Hungarian sausages, quail eggs, corn, and baby potatoes. If you’d like more of these items, you can make extra orders for an additional fee.

To complete your meal, you also get a platter of rice and one liter of iced tea.

7. Sambo Kojin – unlimited Japanese and Korean grill

If you just can’t decide between yakiniku (Japanese grilled meat) and Korean barbecue, you can enjoy both of these at Sambo Kojin.

They have a great selection of meats, seafood, and mushrooms to grill plus side dishes to go with these. They also serve other Japanese and Korean food, including sushi.

Like its sister restaurant, Vikings, Sambo Kojin also has a birthday promo that’s available at any of its branches. Just bring two paying adults during your birth month and dine for free.
