After the excitement of Pride Month and other celebrations in June, the fun doesn’t have to end in July. As the school year is about to begin again, students can take advantage of their remaining free time by engaging in various activities and events happening in Metro Manila.

Here are things to do in Metro Manila for July 2023 from fan festivals to an art exhibition for a fun & celebratory month.


1. Speak Now Taylor’s Version Launch Party

Taylor Swift recently announced her upcoming tour dates. If you’re a swiftie, then you know that she, sadly, won’t be coming to the Philippines.

While it’s a bummer that she won’t be gracing us with her presence, Swifties Philippines came up with something to make up for it. You can still have fun and go to the Speak Now Taylor’s Version Launch Party happening in Taguig. This event allows you to unleash your inner Swiftie, sing along to Taylor Swift’s songs, and have a great time. Best of all, it’s free!

2. Yuri Fan Meeting Tour Chapter 2 in Manila

Fans of the K-pop girl group Girls Generation, also known as SNSD, will be delighted to know that one of their members, Kwon Yuri, will be having a fan meeting in Quezon City.  Over the years, she has managed to make a name for herself as a singer and actress.

To all the Filipino SONEs (term for Yuri’s fans) out there, going to the Chapter 2 Fan Meeting Tour in Quezon City is your chance to meet and interact with Yuri in person. You can listen to her share stories, enjoy live performances, and maybe even take a photo with her.

3. BTS ARMY Fan Festival 2023

True and dedicated BTS ARMYs know that BTS recently celebrated their 10th year anniversary since their debut as a K-pop group. Of course, Filipino ARMYs won’t dare to disappoint. In line with this momentous event, you can go wild and check out the BTS ARMY Fan Festival 2023 happening in Quezon City.

You can meet and interact with fellow ARMYs and share your love for BTS and most of all, your BTS bias. Additionally, you can take photos and watch their best performances movie theater-style.

4. Job Fair and Career Expo 2023

The Job Fair and Career Expo happening in Makati is a great pick if you’re actively looking for a job or are wanting to expand your horizons when it comes to your professional career. This is a great opportunity for you to find your ideal job as you can ask questions, know more about the companies, and socially network with other people at the event.

Even if you’re not looking for a job, it’s still a great experience to immerse yourself in such an environment that can give you more knowledge on how to go about your career.

5. Anime & Cosplay Expo 2023

On a more creative note, the Anime and Cosplay Expo 2023 happening in Pasay is worth checking out if you’re a massive anime and cosplay fan.

You get to watch and join lots of different cosplay activities and contests such as Solo Cosplay Catwalk and Cosplay’s Got Talent. What’s more, you can even join in on the cosplay fun if you want to dress up and express yourself.

6. NewJeans Anniversary Party

K-pop girl group NewJeans has been all the rage when their songs, such as “Hype Boy” and “OMG,” went viral on TikTok. If you’ve become one of their many fans, you won’t want to miss the NewJeans Anniversary Party in Quezon City.

Although NewJeans won’t be present at the event, you can still have a great time with fellow Tokkis (NewJeans fan club) and have the opportunity to win exciting prizes like lightsticks, albums, and merchandise. You can even participate in or watch the NewJeans Dance Cover Battle taking place during the event.
