1. Loop Club – high-energy parties with a big dance floor

Be in the loop in one of Poblacion’s happening clubs. Loop Club is the place to be for high-energy parties with diverse music. You’ll love it here if you’re a fan of EDM, hip-hop, and house music.

What makes it more fun is their different themed nights such as An-Other Ladies Night and Jologs: A Pinoy Pop Culture Night.

Recently, they also hosted Versa: The Live Paandar, featuring drag queens like Minty Fresh.

2. Sanctuary – a haven with the Makati skyline view

As you step into Sanctuary, you’ll be greeted with a trendy and inviting ambiance that promises an indulgent time.

From the bombastic neon lighting to the rhythm of live musical performances and DJ sets, this club will make you want to dance the night away. Sanctuary knows how to keep the party going by bringing in local and international artists to create an electric atmosphere.

Sanctuary has both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor space boasts a rooftop terrace with a breathtaking view of the Makati skyline.

Aside from food, they have different beverages from classics to signature drinks, such as the Sanctuary Sling at P450 (~USD8.02). You can also take advantage of unlimited drinks at their daily Sunset Happy Hour from 5pm until 8pm, the price starts at P890 (~USD15.88).

3. URBN Makati – spacious dance club with fun-sized performers

URBN QC has expanded its party-till-sunrise nightclub to the south. Recently opened URBN Makati is bringing unique party signatures, a spacious dance floor, and local, international, and resident talents to the sleepless Poblacion.

One of their party signatures is having a themed buffet, such as Mexican, Thai, and Japanese food every night. At P499 (~USD 8.88), you can refuel with unlimited food and drinks.

Aside from DJs and showgirls, their Little Ones show provides fun-sized live performances. The hip-hop crew, Bawal Clan, also performs here.

4. Apotheka – remedy for the Gen Z

Another new kid on the block that’s bringing on the hype and craziness to the youngins. It’s easily becoming a favorite bar of the young and the carefree to destress.

From Wednesday to Saturday, Apotheka delivers different themed nights, from Bodies to Saturday Disco that feature live performances and DJ sets from local acts.

You can also catch drag queens slaying on some nights. 

If you’re looking for bar chow, they have Chinese recovery food as you wind down from the party.

5. Aria’s Bolthole Bar – a three-floor jam-packed & affordable bar

Aria’s Bolthole Bar is a three-floor bar – each floor packed with partygoers. The crowd is a mix of friendly Gen Zs and millennials.

It’s a place to sing your hearts out in unison to some of the bar’s staple DJs including Ron Poe and Inna Gita

The food and drinks are cheaper than the other Poblacion clubs and bars, making it a go-to for students. An order of Buffalo Wings is P349 (~USD 6.23), and a Nachos Overload is P349 (~USD 7.12), while alcoholic beverages start at P250 (~USD 4.44).

6. Notorious HQ – a New York-style bar

Notorious HQ has a speakeasy-in-New-York vibe matched with pink neon lights. It’s not that big, but it’s aesthetically pleasing and every corner is Instagrammable & TikTok-worthy.

If you’re a fan of James Reid, you probably already know that he’s the co-owner of the bar.  Don’t be shocked if you see him or other Careless Music artists, such as Destiny Rogers, perform on your night out.

Their drinks range from non-alcoholic to cocktails. One of the signature cocktails is Brooklyn Sour at P495 (~USD 8.81), while a Stella Artois beer is P295 (~USD 5.25).

7. Almacen – a Mexican-inspired bar

If you’re into Mexican food and dancing, Almacen is the perfect night spot for you.

Almacen is inspired by the vibrant festivities of the Mexican culture, particularly Dia de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead, where they celebrate death and rebirth.

8. Tíabuela Discoteca – a mix of old Manila and Spanish resto bar

Tíabuela Discoteca is a recently opened resto and nightclub in Poblacion where you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to old Manila. How cool is it to dine inside a tranvia?

Depending on the night of your visit, you can find yourself dancing to techno, hip-hop, or R&B as the DJs spin all night long.
