2. WE ART LUNETA: Christmas Rush! – art and crafts expo for gift shopping

Last month, WE ART held their monthly arts and crafts market at Market Market! in Taguig and Centris in Quezon City. Now, from November to December, the event called WE ART LUNETA: Christmas Rush! is taking place at Rizal Park, Luneta.

Check it out if you need to gift shop for that friend who loves arts and crafts – you’ll find waterproof stickers, canvas bags, and miniature paintings here.

3. PASKOMIKET 2022 – komiks art market event for comic art lovers

PASKOMIKET 2022 happening at SM Megamall’s Megatrade Hall is another event you can visit if you love comic art by local artists such as PaolaDoodles, Beriberu, and Journalserye.

With over 540 local artists at the event, you’ll be able to find themed stationery, pins, posters, and stickers that you can choose from for journaling, decorating, or accessorizing your belongings.

4. BE YOU 2: THE WORLD WILL CARE – K-Pop legends unite on stage

Millennials will surely be stoked to hear that K-Pop legends TVXQ!, BoA, and EXO’s Chen and Xiumin will be performing on stage at Araneta Coliseum in BE YOU 2: The World Will Care, a tribute concert to all talented elders in the country.

What’s more, you’ll also see local legends Pilita Corrales and Ian Veneracion along with popular artists Lady Pipay and G22 at the tribute concert.

For fans of JBL products and OPM artists such as Parokya Ni Edgar, Arthur Nery, and DJ Hannah Ichiko, the JBL Sound Fest 2022 at the Concert Grounds of SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay would be just the event for you.

7. Handel’s “Messiah” – listen to classical symphonic music by the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra

While most of us like listening to popular music nowadays, there are some of us who still like listening to classical, symphonic music that help with focus and relaxation. For such fans, a live performance by an orchestra beats an mp3.

If live orchestra music interests you, then you’d enjoy going to the Philippine Philharmonics Orchestra concert – Handel’s “Messiah” – at the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex.

The orchestra will be performing alongside the Philippine Madrigal Singers – that consist of 200 members – for a full-on experience of pure classical music being performed live to ring in the Christmas season.

8. Bluebay Walk Music Fest: Countdown to 2023 – year-end celebration with various OPM artists

The Bluebay Walk Music Fest at Bluebay Walk Garden in Pasay is a great year-end event for everyone to go to. Aside from jamming with numerous artists from Silent Sanctuary to ULTRAVIOLET, you can stroll around the venue and enjoy the city view and open air.

What’s more, there are also things you can do nearby from going on a night food trip or last minute gift shopping at the mall.

Take it up a notch and make a short trip to Laguna and Pampanga. There, you can be part of the country’s first music festival set at a theme park in Laguna or see the many giant lanterns from the participating barangays of Pampanga in person.


9. Salo Salo Fest – the first theme park music festival in Laguna

The Salo Salo Fest happening at Enchanted Kingdom in Laguna is its first theme park music festival, the perfect combination for that friend or family member who’s a kid at heart and an OPM fan.

Last on the list, is the Giant Lantern Festival 2022, to be held at Robinsons Starmills in Pampanga, that you can check out to see the different unique and creative lanterns designed by the participating barangays of Pampanga.

The festival is worth the visit to be in the moment of the Christmas season and watch the lanterns as they get lit up at night.
