Over the past few months, many Filipinos have taken to cooking up kitchen experiments at home as a hobby. We’ve seen different food recipes go viral online, from unique pandesal flavors to Pancit Canton experiments.

However, sometimes we just want to sit back and relax without worrying about what to cook or the dirty dishes in the sink you have to wash after eating. On days like these, we turn to our favorite fast food restaurants – such as Jollibee, which is on top of most Filipinos’ lists. Jollibee has just launched its online delivery app that makes ordering food easier and faster.

Ordering from the Jollibee website might be easy enough, but not all of us have a laptop on hand at all times. Also, the website doesn’t yet show us how long our order will take.

That’s why the fast-food restaurant hopes to make ordering a smoother transaction with the recent Jollibee app launched on 19th August 2020. The app is now available for free on the App Store for iPhones and the Google Play Store for Android phones.

The Jollibee app includes a mix of new features and old features from the Jollibee website that make satisfying your Jollibee cravings easier. Just like with the website, you can opt for cashless payments and order on your mobile phone directly – with a much more comfortable user interface this time.

As for the new features, you can now customize your orders however you want, a win for those who are particular about their food. You can also track your orders through the app, including the time the food will take to get to you. Coupons are also available on the app for you to save up on your future orders.

Aside from the Jollibee app launch, Jollibee has been keeping busy adjusting to COVID-19. They have new quarantine protocols that will assure you that your food will arrive clean and hygienically, whether through takeout or delivery. 

These include a 3-step safety check for those who opt for takeout at physical stores. For deliveries, each order comes with a safety seal and delivery slip indicating the temperatures of the crew and the rider.

While it’s tempting to feast on affordable and delicious fast food, it’s equally important to keep a balanced diet. You can battle any flus and sniffles better – touch wood – with a stronger immune system, and that stronger immune system comes with plenty of fruits and vegetables.
