9 Halloween Parties In Metro Manila To Join If Trick-or-Treating’s Too Vanilla For You

Halloween parties in Manila, Philippines

Halloween has become a major holiday in the Philippines. Parties, scary movie marathons, trick-or-treating events are aplenty throughout the metro. It’s the one time of the year when you can wear a mask and cape without turning heads, and when you can embrace your inner Hyde without being judged a weirdo.

If you’re racking your brains on where to go to ring in All Hallows’ Eve, we’ve got you covered. From a spooky underwater escape to a night of untamed revelry, here’s a list of 10 Halloween parties in Metro Manila this 2019.

1. Cream Halloween Festival 2019 – the all-night EDM party

Break into the most “hidden” party in the Philippines this All Hallows’ Eve – the entrance to the party venue is located within Latin restaurant Tittos. Search for a “bullet-proof” vault door to get into a “lair” that is reminiscent of Netflix’s “Money Heist”, aka Las Casa de Papel, for La Casa de Dewars Halloween Special

Come in a red jumpsuit or any Halloween costume and you’ll get 4 Dali masks for free, plus 10% off on a bottle of Dewar’s. You’ll “break in” for the party but stay hostage dancing to remixes of “Bella Ciao”, the Italin folk song featured in the Netflix show that inspired this themed party.

The top floor has a rooftop garden where you can chill in the cool outdoors if the dance floor gets too stuffy. Costume-wise, we’d say be on theme and sport the biggest afro you can find, don a psychedelic print and boogie to the beats from that your parents discoed to in their heyday.

Address: NoKal, 8486 Kalayaan Avenue, Makati City
Entry Fee: Free

Revel boasts an extensive list of top-shelf spirits (gin, vodka, scotch, rum, whiskey and more), wine, specialty cocktails and bottles of champagne outfitted with sparklers. Tunes-wise, you can groove to the sounds of DJs Mars Miranda, Euric and Knoxville.

Dive into the day of the dead at Manila’s first pool club, The Island PH. This slice of tropical paradise will set the city on Mexican fire this Halloween with its island fiesta, Dia de los Muertos. More than 500 people are expected to squeeze into this city island paradise, so we recommend putting on a light and breezy costume that can withstand your whole night of partying and dancing to the tunes of SP Espinosa, Kat DJ and Marc Naval.

If you need to take a breather, mosey your way to the themed food huts newly added to the Island PH like Catch and Release and Big Kahuna for a Salmon Poke Bowl (P290) or an Angus Cheeseburger (P390) before heading back into the crowd.

The parties at the island are known to get pretty wild – with its combination of tropical cocktails, music from the best DJs in the country and the ambience of a beach escape – so keep an eye out if you don’t want to get dunked in the pool at the end of the night.

The bar has creative cocktails like Kimchi Sour (P295), a slurry of soju with the surprise of kimchi for that sour tang; and Yogurt Lady (P295), a Yakult and soju combo topped with a Melona ice cream bar. How to spend Halloween 2019

With all the Halloween parties available this year, we say ditch the horror flick, slap on some face paint, false vampire teeth and fairy wings, and gather a group of friends to storm the city in costume. Whichever party you decide to go to, we’re sure you’ll have a hauntingly memorable time.
