Sporting goods store Decathlon has graced Quezon City with its presence once more with another branch for residents nearby for easier access.
We went to Decathlon’s grand opening at SM Fairview, Quezon City where you can get apparel and gear for different sports and outdoor activities such as tents, sleeping bags, and inflatables.
Decathlon offers sporting goods for almost any sport you can think of. You’ll find equipment for sports such as cycling, inline skating, and surfing.
What’s more, they offer these equipment at affordable prices. For example, you can get a skipping rope for P130 (~USD2.29) or a pair of country walking boots for P850 (~USD15). Everything you buy here has a two-year warranty, so you can have your items replaced if needed.
You can find various choices of gym equipment such as punching bags (starts at P3,400, ~USD59.95), trampolines (starts at P2,250, ~USD39.67), and elliptical trainers (starts at P10,400, ~USD183.35) for different exercises.

The store has self-checkout counters that you can choose if you prefer self-service and faster transactions. Feel free to ask for assistance from one of the staff for a struggle-free experience.
Not only does Decathlon offer apparel and equipment for adults, but for kids as well. While some of them are limited compared to apparel for adults, kid-sized clothing and footwear can be found around the store.
You can find kiddie gym equipment such as hopper balls starting at P470 (~USD8.29). Other kiddie equipment includes inline skates (P1,490, ~USD26.28), bikes (starts at P2,700, ~USD47.62), and scooters (starts at P1,300, ~USD22.93).
Aside from apparel and equipment, Decathlon also has useful tools for accurate measurements and practice. For kids, you can use the store’s cute height checker to choose the most suitable bike for ages one through 14.
There are also several benches and foot sizers provided around the store so you can get footwear that will best fit you for comfort.
You’ll also find a practice mat for inline skates, scooters, and skateboards to test and get a feel of the equipment before you get them.
For golf players and enthusiasts, feel free to test out some golf clubs and balls on their golf putting trainer for choosing the right model and weight to use on your next game.
