4th Impact Slays In Comeback MV “Here We Go”, Group Officially Under ShowBT Entertainment & Sony Music PH

4th Impact makes a powerful comeback

Most Filipinos first heard of 4th Impact in 2015 when they wowed the judges on The X Factor UK. However, the girl group consisting of sisters Almira, Irene, Mylene and Celina actually began their career as early as in 2001 and have been under many different music labels since then.

After many years of trying to break into the local music scene, 4th Impact sees a promising opportunity after releasing their single “Here We Go” on 25th March. It’s the group’s first comeback under ShowBT Entertainment and Sony Music Philippines, who are known for handling the P-pop boy group SB19.

Update: as of 18th April 2022, the music video for “Here We Go” has 711,000 Youtube views and counting! The behind-the-scenes making films are also now available on 4th Impact’s Youtube channel.

“Here We Go” is a pop R&B song that celebrates Filipina power. As expected, 4th Impact showed strong vocals and stage presence for this new track.

The group’s music video for “Here We Go” showed the members in blinged clothes and accessories, revealing a production budget that matches their high notes. The video’s cinematography and coloring are also up to music video trends to appeal to the younger audience.

4th Impact needs not to be compared to foreign groups to prove their capacity. But if you’re not a P-pop fan just yet, this new release had netizens comparing 4th Impact to the South Korean girl group MAMAMOO who are known to release powerful songs and for breaking the stereotype of young K-pop group members.

4th Impact joined ShowBT Entertainment in October 2021 and has been joining events with SB19 since then, but “Here We Go” is their first official comeback under the Philippines-based Korean entertainment company and Sony Music Philippines.

Besides its high-impact music video on YouTube, the song can be found on all digital streaming platforms. “Here We Go” will also have physical albums which include photocards. You can get signed copies of the album if you place your order on their website until 8 April at 11.59PM.

4th Impact gets the P-pop treatment

Now that 4th Impact is getting the full P-pop treatment – with trendy dance moves, high-budget music videos, and artistic albums with photocards a la K-pop –  they’re sure to gain new fans here and abroad.

But as we wait for further releases from 4th Impact under their new management, we can watch them and many more P-pop acts in a concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on 10th April.
